STEPS IN THE TEMPLE, has the perspective, form and color of a Tibetan temple; the central stair organizes the chaotic graffiti, elevating the viewer to a distant horizon, edged by a hovering concrete roof. This deliberate framing creates a metaphorical vision in the picture.
The stadium’s value and legend as an artistic ruin may even supersede its original function as an arena. It continues to be an exciting source of inspiration for contemporary artists.
